Happy Easter, Everyone!

We worshipped with First Baptist Church San Antonio this morning in our pajama pants and house shoes.  It was good, but we really did miss our church!  There's no place like home!  Thanks to Vern for filling in for me this morning!

If we were home today, we would be hiding eggs for the girls to hunt.  I force them to hunt for them, because hiding eggs is one of my favorite things to do.  Thanks to my great nephew Noah for giving me a reason to hide eggs yesterday.

We got to see some rain early this morning.  I had almost forgotten what it was like.

We really have been blessed and encouraged by all of your comments.  We are looking forward to being back home tomorrow, the Lord willing.  Shan and Stef:  start cleaning house now!! :) (JK)

We love you all,

Kenny and Helen

Dear Kenny & Helen,

Happy Easter! I enjoyed singing the Easter Cantata today at church. Jamie did a great job of directing us as usual, even though we need to present him with a sweatband for his forehead. LOL

I have thoroughly enjoyed your blog. You are both such a blessing to our family and church family.

Take care and know that you both are always in our prayers.

We Love You,

Danine Smith & Chipper, Samuel, Joshua & Conner

I missed you guys today :(

You didnt have to force us to easter egg hunt!!! Are you kidding? Me and Shan loved it soo much that we would continue hiding and finding eggs all day long till like 7 in the afternoon. Haha. Lame! (That may or may not be why we have soo many friends)

But yes, the annual Easter egg hunt was greatly missed today. I especially missed the money that you guys hid in them.

Love you, need you, goodnight :)

Kenny & Helen,

I hope you get to come home soon
we all really miss you guy’s.
I missed you being in the balcony
at church this week. I know that it’s funny but I always look for you. I think that our family is like one of those big jigsaw puzzles and you two are the
pieces that are missing at the moment. The pieces that are missing always seem to be the most important ones…like someone’s face or something. You are so important to us and we love you so very much.

Shan and Stef…we love you very
much!!

Come to Me, all of you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest. Matthew 11:28

Praise the Lord for being free from the hospital! May the Lord give you great wisdom as you meet with the doctor today. Love you!

AHHH Easter Egg Hunts. Our rule is anyone under 40 has to hunt. You should have seen Bobby going after the eggs. We missed ya'll so much at church, but then again, you are always missed when you're out. Isn't it great that we can celebrate Jesus' Resurrection together even though we all apart. I love the part about your pajamas and house shoes. That may start a new tradition. I really doubt that Mary, Martha and the other Mary took time to put on heels and makeup before going to the tomb that 1st Easter morning. We'll keep praying for ya'll today. Let us know how it all goes.
Love ya'll very much
